The whole fashion (that's all it is) of political correctness in every popular topic is a bunch of nonsense.
The way I see it, there is nothing more excluding than asking for special considerations for a specific group of people, its the same thing as saying : this people can't handle that.
Let's set an example : If there is a short sighted kid, and someone starts demanding changes to the hide and seek game to fit that kid's range of vision, would that do any good ?
Chances are that would just ruin the fun for everyone.
On top of that (back to the video games topic) one of the most, if not the most popular game franchises between men and women, is based on the "knight saving the princess from of dragon" story.
I remember the good old days when games were about having a good time, and nobody gave a shit about taking the "pacifist" way or being "filled with determination" and no human felt ever underrepresented because megaman is a robot, donkey kong is an ape and tetris blocks are not even living things.
